29/11/2010 - International Volunteer Day- As part of International Volunteer Day on December 5, the Department of
Immigration and Citizenship will acknowledge the excellent work of Integrated Humanitarian Settlement Strategy (IHSS) volunteers across Australia.  These volunteers have been assisting refugees and humanitarian clients to settle into the Australian community through their work with the Department's IHSS program.

To mark this occasion, the Parliamentary Secretary for Immigration and Citizenship, Senator Kate Lundy, has acknowledged the contribution of the volunteers through the release of a YouTube video on ImmiTv, produced by the Department

The Department of Immigration and Citizenship DIAC has announced 2 year
funding for TMSG's settlement grants program effective July 1 2009.

The 4th Friday of the month from 10am-12 noon at TMSG Centre
