The Queensland government has published a new document : the Queensland Cultural Diversity Policy
As whole-of-government lead for the implementation and monitoring of the Policy, Cultural Diversity Queensland will partner with business, industry, community and non-government sectors to combine the necessary skills, experience and capacity required to develop an Action Plan which will deliver on the following four outcomes.
- language independence
- education participation and attainment
- economic independence and participation
- community participation.
The first Queensland Government Cultural Diversity Action Plan will be finalised in 2014.
