Regular Activities

One-on-one English Conversation Group

Every Friday, 9am - 11am at TMSG.

Multicultural Women’s Group

4th Friday of every month, 9.30am - 12noon at TMSG.

Sewing Group

1st, 2nd, 3rd & 5th Friday of every month during school term, 10am - 12noon at TMSG.

After School Drop In

Every Wednesday during school term, 3pm - 5pm at TMSG.

• Enjoy time with friends and afternoon tea

• See a youth worker for support, if you want

• Work on your resume and look for jobs

• Play some games

Volunteer Information Sessions

Volunteer Information Sessions are held monthly at TMSG. Prospective volunteers must attend an information session as part of the volunteer registration process. Upcoming sessions:

• Thursday 16 January 2020, 1.30pm - 2.30pm

• Thursday 19 March 2020, 1.30pm - 2.30pm

Programs

Song time - Family literacy program for children aged 0-5

Song time is finished for this term and will recommence on Tuesday 18 February 2020. Held at the Aitkenvale Library, 4 Petunia Street, Aitkenvale.

• Learn English through reading and singing (English language skills are not required)

• Connect with your local library staff

• Meet new people in your community

Big Brother Program

Partnership with Townsville State High School.

Every Friday during school term, 3.30pm - 5pm.

• Make new community connections

• Enjoy time with friends while playing sports

• Learn about leadership, respect, responsibility

Transport is provided by TMSG. Open to 7 youth. New registrations open in January 2020.
