Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at TMSG. We recognise the reciprocal nature of volunteering and are committed to providing an experience that supports the work of TMSG while meeting the needs and expectations of volunteers. All volunteers must attend a Volunteer Information Session and be eligible for a Blue Card.
TMSG welcomes individual, group or corporate volunteers who are willing to share their time, energy and skills. There are a range of ways to make a valuable contribution to the work of TMSG through donating your time on a casual, regular, long term or short-term basis.
Providing orientation and/or social support to a newly arrived family
Supporting new clients to attend appointments
Assisting with setting up and moving families to accommodation
Tenancy training and support for newly arrived families
Administration and office support
Assisting with activities and events
Fundraising
Gardening and general maintenance
Supporting children while parents are attending information sessions / programs
Sewing and handicraft group
English conversation group
